Cream of Bean Soup

Hearty soup to warm the tummy!

    •    3 cups cooked brown beans
    •    1 1/2 cups fresh cream
    •    4 cups whey
    •    1 carrot
    •    4 small tomatoes
    •    1 green chili
    •    2 tsp salt
    •    1/2 tsp pepper
    •    1/2 tsp turmeric
    •    1 tsp powdered ginger
    •    1 tbsp cane sugar

First pressure cook the beans. When finished, set aside.

Chop the carrot and tomatoes. Then place the fresh cream, green chili, and all spices into a blender and blend until nice a smooth. Add the chopped veggies, blended cream and the whey into your cooking pot and cook on medium high flame for about 10 minutes.

After 10 minutes of cooking add 1/2 the cooked brown beans to the soup. No bean cooking water needed. Then grab a hand blender and blend everything until smooth.

Then add the remaining beans to the pot. Turn the flame off and you are done!

Now you are ready to offer to Kṛṣṇa with love and devotion!
